The Tennessee Collection
Caza Sikes has spent 2+ years assembling one of the most impressive collections of coins from the Carson City mint on behalf of a client. The most recent acquisition was this stunning 1870 example, of which only a few are known to exist in this grade. The coin comes with a narrative history of the coin from the family in which it descended, a rarity to have this provenance. Caza did not stop there, through meticulous research we created a relationship with the family and were able to acquire more documentation behind the coin, thus increasing the value even more.

A Masterpiece from
Alfred Montgomery
A substantial and monumental work from Alfred Montgomery (Kansas, 1857-1922). Unique to this piece is the split-rail fence post framing which was a hallmark of Montgomery, yet few if any survive to this day. (This work is SOLD)
One of the largest pieces every to surface, the work exhibits all of the artist’s trademark style and subjects. A one-owner lineage, the painting was acquired directly from the family who commissioned it from Montgomery in the early 20th Century. Truly a museum-worthy work. Currently undergoing cleaning and minor restoration.
Also, a smaller Montgomery work in a barnwood frame with a unique hinged design. This work remains available.
